HASA has its own forest department, Haapuu Oy, which obtains raw material for the production facilities. HASA’s timber purchasing area mainly consists of local private forest estates. We buy log- and timber-heavy stands, and our annual raw material requirement is approximately 800,000 m³.

HASA obtains its raw timber from responsibly managed, PEFC certified forests. As a guarantee of this, Hasa has been granted a wood origin chain management certificate.
